Ponies....Damn Ponies.....

Well I've official become a brony and with that came a new perspective of life and other things. I've gain so much wisdom from that show and of course from the MLP community as well. Before I really got into it I was so negative about the world. There was so much about it that I hated.......the institution of drinking, the constant betrayals to self and others, misunderstandings, bias, unjustified anger or hate, lack of self control, people being just untrue to themselves, and well people in general....I had no hope left in humanity. What ever happened to the chivalrous man? Basic courtesy?  Selflessness? I did not see any of these things anywhere and, to me, one bred to always look for the good in people, to do good by them, to pursue the betterment of mankind.....it felt like it was me against the rest of society in which each person was as selfish as the next. After watching MLP though, getting to know the fan base, and a lot of reflection on myself and my environment, I regained what I had lost so many years ago. Hope. There is still good in this world and I am sure over time good will once again flourish.

Lol....alright enough with my past mindf*** (sorry navy tongue) I'm going to aggressively pursue art now. So much good has come from MLP that my mind boggles. It's just a form of art, yet it can cause so much change. To me art has become not just an arrangement of shapes and patterns, it's become a strong form of communication, truth, a portal to another's mind, the human soul manifesting in the physical realm for all to see and behold. I'm not sure how far I'll get but I'm sure going to damn try my best. For GOOD and most of all, while good isn't prevalent, HOPE!
